Gotham City has been, quite literally, torn apart. It was a single, solitary act by Gotham's very own King of Comedy, the Joker. Alongside his bombshell assistant Dr. Harleen Quinzel, AKA: Harley Quinn, the Joker not only escaped from Arkham Asylum, but succeeded in releasing every prisoner within its walls. The facility, in the ensuing chaos, was utterly destroyed. What was once a state of the art prison for the criminally insane is now just a pile of smoldering ashes, and with its passing, so entered Gotham into her darkest hours.
So where do you stand? Do you fight for evil? There are plenty of Supervillains waiting for your allegiance. Do you fight for yourself? The fate of Gotham will be yours to control. Or do you fight for good, alongside the Batman and his Allies? Only one thing is clear, it seems. No matter what your choice, there can be No. Escape.

Alright. There is a simple, easy to use Code at the end of this. However, I would like you to please read the outline, as I took my time to type it up. Please and thank you. Also, the breaks and spaces were placed there intentionally because that's how I like to read profiles. ^^ Please don't alter this too much. Once you've filled this all out, post your application as its own thread in the "Pending Applications" board. Once reviewed, it will be moved to the appropriate board. You may consider this an odd way to do things, but I like to consider myself odd. xD So. Just do it, kay? Think like Nike.
Your Character's Name Here
Sex: Duh.
Age: A guesstimation will do. However, it's not logical for say, The Riddler to be 6. Be logical people. Logical is gooooood. *says Harley Quinn* O.o
Height: See Weight.
Weight: This is the easy part, folks. xP Guesstimate. Assuming, of course, your four foot tall character doesn't way 1231657 pounds, you should be fine.
Occupation: Thief? Murderer? General, all around criminal?
Affiliation/Faction: Has your character joined a faction? If so, list it here. Is your character affilated with another? Put it here. For example, Harley would be affliated with The Joker. *nod*
Appearance
Physical Appearance: A picture will suffice here. However, if you're going for bonus points, typing up a nice paragraph or two wouldn't hurt. *nod*
Characterization
Backstory: This is, by far, the most important part of the profile. This is the personality, appearance... this is every section I left out all rolled in to one. See, I always hate profile with long, drawn out applications. They always make me feel like I have to impress the admin to get accepted, and that's not the case here. I could hate your writing style, and as long you know your character, I'll accept you no questions. In this backstory, you have both creative control and Canon restriction, assuming you're applying for a Canon character. See, comics are vague on what's actually canon, so you have permission to take the most impressive portions of your character's comic history and piece them together however you like. I expect this to be written like a story. Dialogue, plot etc. I need multiple, sizeable paragraphs for this portion. The most important piece? I must see that you KNOW. YOUR. CHARACTER. Simply reading Wiki through and through so you can make up a pretty little story is NOT. ENOUGH. I can do that for all these characters if I want. That's dull and unimaginative. Show me you know what you're doing. *nod*
Powers/Abilities: This is pretty self-explanatory if you ask me. However, do NOT reword what you've read somewhere. I want YOUR WORDS on what your character's powers are. If you're playing a character without a power, then put N/A on this section. But if you are playing someone like Mr. Freeze or Poison Ivy, then put, in your own words, what your character's powers are. *nod*
RP Sample: The second most important part of the profile. This sample is to be done in Third person, past tense and in the role of the character for whom you are applying. As mentioned in the rules, ladies and gentlemen, this is an advanced RP. Multi-Para, advanced language, few spelling mistakes etc. This is a dealbreaker folks. I'm no super elitist, but I don't want one liners or posts devoid of grammar. Also, this is your final chance to show us you really know who you're playing. Don't blow it. ^_~
